Do you back in February when we posted an article about the possibility of Okami coming to the Wii? Well it has been confirmed by Capcom themselves and the rumour mill can finally be closed.
The Wii seems a perfect platform for the game and Capcom could not resist turning the Wiimote in to a magical paintbrush it seems. Although the popularity of the Wii Resident Evil games is the reason cited for the port.
The release date for Europe has been stated as Spring 2008. In case you do not know that is any time in March, April and May of next year.

I'm pretty tempted to get it for my PS2 instead of waiting for a Wii version. Oh what to do!?
Wait for it. there's plenty of other games out now or soon, and less in spring!
I have the PS2 version, but if the Wii version is going to have top notch control scheme then I might sell my PS2 version and get the Wii one!
Never played the PS2 version so will probably pick this up. Shame the Wii is getting 'last gen' games though. Why not a new version?
