Little something to get you excited today, some release dates for the US... hopefully we'll get some EU release dates shortly.
"Pokémon Battle Revolution will be joined by Super Paper Mario™, the first Mario™ game for Wii; Mario Party® 8, a multiplayer party game; and Big Brain Academy™, a brain-training game that builds on the phenomenal success of the Nintendo DS brain games. A lot of movie tie-ins there and a lack of mention of some games I'm interested in like that flying one.
But, Transformers!
Is anyone else worried about that list? Lots of licenced crap in there - this reminds me of the GameCube days...
Looks like we'll have to rely on Nintendo's first party stuff to carry the system.
The one thing that worries me is the lack of Metroid Prime! Hopefully we'll see more release dates at E3 though.
Super Paper Mario though?
Yeah, that looks sweet. It's not a 'blockbuster' title though is it? It's hardly going to shift systems. Although at the moment, the Wii is selling nicely without any real killer games!
Maybe not, but I think its gonna satisfy all the long term Nintendo fans, it looks really great.
