We've already reported that possibility of playing The Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess on your Revolution console using the freehand controller, this however has today been dismissed by Nintendo as not the case.
In a response to EuroGamer.net the big N squashed the rumours with the following statement.
"The article in the January edition of NGC Magazine is pure speculation. Nintendo have made no new announcements regarding The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. We can however confirm that the game is still in development and that it will launch on Nintendo GameCube in 2006."
Hopefully Nintendo will have taken the popularity of this "rumour" on board, and consider it. It would be incredibly cool. Go on shiggys, let us use the wand!

"it will launch on Nintendo GameCube in 2006" I thought it was a Revolution game?
No, Nintendo have always denied that it will be a Revolution game. It will be playable on the system however so it may well come cheap when you buy your Rev.
