Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: How To Beat Arven

The final stop in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet's Path of Legends takes you back to where everything began — and while things may end in a friendly battle, you've gained more knowledge on the history of Paldea than you ever thought possible.

Where to find Arven

Arven and your trainer will agree to meet at the Poco Path Lighthouse laboratory — that's where you were shortly after you met Koraidon/Miraidon right at the start of the game.

You should be able to fly straight there, and all you need to do is walk towards the door on the left to kick off events.

After a cutscene, leave the lab to find Arven and Mabosstiff outside, ready to battle.

How to beat Arven

Arven's team is pretty diverse, but Mabosstiff's Dark Tera-type makes for a good final challenge.

Rock and Fighting-type are two of his more consistent weaknesses, so Glimmora, Gallade, Garganacl, Pawmot, and Annihilape are good picks. Volcarona and Lokix help weed out the Bug weaknesses. Meowscarada and Quaquaval are brilliant for coverage too. A Terastallized Annihilape should take out Mabosstiff with no trouble.
