Bayonetta 3: Side Mission 1 - The Crimson Shadow Walkthrough

Bayonetta 3's side missions see you take on some shadowy covert ops with Jeanne as she treks through enemy bases on the tail of the elusive Dr Sigurd.

These side-scrolling spy action sections are a nice change of pace from the main game, tricky little stealth sequences full of doors and vents to hide behind and enemies to get the drop on.

Before we begin, here are some tips to help you out in these sections:

Top Tips For Super Spies

• Sneak attacks switch you to Witch Time and you can then chain multiple sneak attacks whilst it's activated
• Find weapons and other surprises behind doors
• You're on a timer but it's pretty generous so don't feel rushed
• Pick up hourglasses to gain more time
• Every level has a few big buttons to hit in order to progress, look for the big red console with a lock on it!

Bewitchments

Avoid Taking Damage While Moving Through The Water - In the flooded area at the bottom of the level you'll assume serpent form. Move through the obstacles here without taking any damage.

Find The Hidden Waterway - ???

Perform 3 Successful Stealth Kills - Simply kill any three enemies with stealth to earn this one.

Find And Defeat Affinity - ???

Defeat 5 Homunculi While Transformed Into Cutie J - Once you've got the Cutie J costume, this is easy, simply blast through the level you're on and then up to clear out left and right of enemies. You can find the Cutie J door on level C2 to the right side of lift, as shown below.

Fast Food Collectibles

Soda - C3 - After you re-emerge from water area at bottom, on the level above Cutie J door.

Burger - Furthest left point of C2

Toilet Paper - Ground floor, to far left, floor above water area.

Fries - Once you've emerged from water and are on the same floor as the Figure Box.
