Should you square off with this?
From the first screens released, developer Dreambox Games’s first WiiWare title looked set for stardom. Robox is a 2D side-scrolling platforming adventure that has a beguiling beauty, utilising an art style that's full of character and reminiscent of the pages of classic children’s books like Where the Wild...
About The Game
An exploratory probe has been sent to a strange planet to investigate the loss of several previous probes and to collect information.
Following a crash landing on the planet’s surface, our main character loses the skills that were to enable the accomplishment of the mission. Help him recover them with the help of the strange creatures that have taken over his mechanical interior… discover the truth behind his new mission!
GAME FEATURES:
You can enjoy a complete adventure mode developed in different locations of the planet, exploring lots of paths and discovering plenty of hidden secrets.
Use the Wii Remote™ horizontally in the classic way!
The unique features of the Wii Remote™ allow new situations and more fun throughout the game!
You can reach the end of the adventure if you procure surviving, or explore every corner of the planet … so you can discover any of Robox´s secrets!
Furthermore, inside the robot, you can manage some tiny creatures that can help you to repair the damaged areas after the accident, so you can recover skills and access memory files.
Use the Wii Remote™ as a Pointer to the screen and use with cleverness the skills of each creature to fight your way through the inside of the robot.
These creatures are spread all around the planet. Explore it thoroughly to collect them all!

Woah, this looks highly interesting. Nice screenies.
Looks very artsy, like Muramasa.
this reminds me of an amiga game,i would buy this game.
i hope it has a querky tune for it.
Eh, I am a bit suspicious.
I can't see anything special on the screenshots.
I am loving the style of art. Looks like it could deliver, I'm staying tuned.
The footage shows some great gaming art work but the pace is plodding and the platforming generic. Still, I'm interested....revw required.
looks like he does quite a bit of walking
Looks great! A slow-moving depressed looking robot. Lovely!
Can't wait for further news.
The visuals remind me a lot of the recent Boy and His Blob remake...
Looks far too slow moving. Pass.
Does look quite generic. Jumping... walking... crouching... picking things up... the epic music contrasts so much with what's actually going on that it's almost silly.
I don't know. I love slow games, but watching the trailer for this game makes me feel so bored. I see a 6 star rating in its future, though I would like to be wrong about that.
captaindingo, captaindingo, you've seen the second trailer, probably you won't say slow, bored or silly.
