Will Engine Software’s WiiWare debut give you much bang for your buck?
Bang Attack is a puzzle game involving hammers, fruit and other random objects. The concept is very simple. Your screen is loaded with refilling objects: fruit on the first level, seaside objects on the second level, etc. To clear the objects from the screen you must “hammer...
About The Game
Bang Attack is a colourful puzzle game that calls on you to swing your Wii Remote like a hammer as you try to find and smash identical objects. With the option of competing against a friend in two player mode, and 40 levels to conquer, Bang Attack will soon have you in the swing of things

Doesn't sound that explosive
Yea nothing makes it sound fun. We dont even know what it will be about.
We need more information on what this game is about to make it sound fun.
Pssh, yeah, the title is a tad misleading. xD
I want to know more info on this title. I heard it'll be priced at 500, though, which is good but if only I know more about it. Despite being a puzzle fan, I may skip this unless new info turns up and it revives the game for me in a sense.
I want explosions! I mean, c'mon its called BANG!
Or at least more excitement.... or bang for your buck. xD
The screen shots look like they're from something you'd find for free online.
Another tetris redo! with a hilarious name...
OMG what a misleading name. I thought it would be a shooter or something. It's a f'ing Tetris style game!
Actually, judging from the screenshots, it looks like a variation on Wrecking Crew '98. Which can be a very good thing.
Judging from the screenshots, it looks like the object of the game is to clear pieces using your hammer. Point, click, bang - piece broken. You get combos for breaking pieces that are touching others of the same type. From this, I would assume that (like WC98) if enough pieces fall and touch others of the same type as a result, you make a chain.
Looks like this is a puzzler worth watching.
I was expecting a war game, or at least an exciting puzzler, but instead, it's Bomberman with the bombs set for you. Very disappointing.
from the screens, it looks stupid. the name caught my eye, then i look and i am very dissapointed. well... thats life
by the pics it looks like a puzzler im not into puzllers so i dont see myself picking this one up
I was expecting something very different. I may get it but i will wait until a review first and some more information
Do those screenshots remind anyone of Plattchen or Big Kahuna Party? They do to me
Aw man! I thoguht this was a sh'mup when I first heard the name. Turns out it's just another mediocre puzzle game.
Whose bright idea was it to name a puzzle game BANG!? BOOM! would've made a lot more sense.
Too...many...puzzle games!
@ Cheezy
Yup. A score too many
Nevertheless, despite the Super Fruit Fall-esque screens, I won't become judgmental until more info is announced.
...When is this coming out anyway?
Please stop with the puzzle games unless you come up with something new...which NO ONE has.
Hopefully this'll be good, and according to the "ever-reliable" Nintendo Channel, it's out this Friday over here at 600 pts - so if WoG doesn't get released, I'll certainly give this a try over Rotohex.
well... Thursday. the shop gets updated at 11pm every week here since the clocks changed (used to be midnight). and Bang! was a surprise to me, I hadn't heard of it before when I saw it on the shop (that I remember - obviously I posted here before).
Hmm... This looks very much like a typical mobile phone game: that is, a very average puzzler good for killing ten minutes but not much more.
The graphics make me want to puke.
@BassX0: Yeah, but it's almost Friday - and we wouldn't want to confuse anyone by saying "Thursday", now would we?
@Wiiman192: Even when comparing crap to crap - don't even mention Super Fruit Fall. God, that game's awful.
Oh - and I wouldn't recommend this, people! I'm guessing it'll get a four due to lack of things to do (there's a single player mode and two player versus, but you always play the same levels in the same order, with no "endless" option or level selection).
ADDED: I guessed correctly!
Eh. I don't really care anymore about that. For many places in Europe, it already is Friday when the games get released isn't it? Anyway. I wonder if this will ever make it to America.
It finally has arrived in North America on April 19, 2010 and for that long wait, they're only charging 500 Nintendo Wii points on this game.
