Mini Review Spirit of the North - Minimalistic Mystery Mired By Myriad Mistakes
The fox and the... other fox
Since the release of the hugely popular Journey, many other games have gone down the route of minimal storytelling, focusing primarily on visuals and music to evoke emotions within the player. Spirit of the North leans heavily into this, tasking you with a very simple objective; explore the environment and solve puzzles...
About The Game
Spirit of the North is a single-player 3rd-person adventure game inspired by the breathtaking and mysterious landscapes of Iceland.
The story takes root from various pieces of Nordic folklore. The game is unique in that it purposefully has no dialog or narrative. Players must breathe in their surroundings to solve various puzzles and speculate the meaning of a lost ancient civilization.
Play as an ordinary red fox who’s story becomes entwined with the guardian of the Northern Lights, a female spirit fox. As you journey over the mountains and under red-stained skies, you’ll discover more about your companion and land left in ruin.

This game is incredible! I now own it on PS4 and Switch. really relaxing, beautiful, subtle symbolic meaning through out the journey. there's no text that I have to read(Which is awesome!) I was a big Okami fan back in the day.... but dang that was a lot of text to read in that game....
Just started playing this and, damn it's a kind of mess, just running through with no idea what to do, can't see the spirit wolf that i am supposed to be following, walk on snow near a clear area it explodes into a snow circle.
It's just a bit sloppy, how did this get released? It's not finished at all.
There was a patch before I started playing it, god knows how bad it was before that.
I can't get it on my Nintendo switch lite I had 83? And my points were GONE!!!!!
