This game in its current form should be avoided on Switch.
I downloaded, the free version thankfully and not any of the paid bundles.
I’ve only played the tutorial but that was enough for me. It’s dire, sound is bitty and music stuttering, graphics are so grainy that there’s no feel of depth to them with no texture, the fighting feels disconnected to the enemy you are fighting if you know what I mean. You don’t get the feeling that you’re actually hitting anything, attacking is two buttons X and Y, Y being the more powerful to clear a group and X being for one on one.
The lock on is push down of the L stick as well as dash to avoid an attack so every time you dash to avoid an attack from a boss you lose the lock on!
Once you choose a class you get a few more attack combos with a combination of the buttons already mentioned, shield with B and special move with ZL.
The voice acting is poor; the jump into lo res cut scenes that I guess should be instantaneous is broken by loading times with a black screen.
Once I finished the class tutorial I gave up and deleted it as it was hurting my eyes to strain at the graphics on my TV.
For me this will stay deleted until If/When they release a few patches to bring it into line with the likes of Warframe or Witcher.
Don’t be fooled by the fake SkyForge advertising you see on Nintendolife with beautiful graphics on the Switch display.
