Sonic! Golden Axe! Phantasy Star! Streets of Rage!
The Sega Mega Drive (or Genesis, if you're in North America) is a console that needs no introduction, even on a site devoted to Nintendo. During the early '90s, Sega and Nintendo were mortal enemies and their respective 16-bit systems were locked in an epic struggle which has since gone down as one...

Guide Best Nintendo Switch Beat 'Em Ups
Take the fight to the mean streets
Beat 'em ups have been a staple of gaming since the mid-1980s when Kung Fu Master birthed the genre in the arcades. I, for one, cannot wait for this to be released. My 90's was largely spent on my sega megadrive, and playing these classics (and a few I missed as a kid) is like revisiting an old friend just on a newer system.
@Ralphio direct that comment to Nintendo; they own Sega, if you didn’t know.
@Ralphio Hmmm
yes, one time major competitors did become friends, they did NOT do like once competitors Square and Enix and become one company
Its a great collection of retro games presented well.
Only disappointed by the lack of the wonder boy games which are present in other versions.
Despite that my inner 90's kid is having a blast with this
@kobalt They might come as DLC. Sucks that they'd be behind a paywall though.
A fabulous collection of old classics! Streets of Rage still plays well all these years later. Fabulous collection.
