It's out now, I'll be looking to buy it next week. In any case I won't miss buying it, looks like an interesting horror cinematic platformer. Got 7/7/7/7 in Famitsu back in January, their standard score for something "okay".
@LemonSlice I didn't find the answer so I decided to check for myself. A few minutes in currently, still not sure if I am going to buy it but it could very well happen. ^^
It looks like you're far less "vulnerable" than in Clock Tower: there is a menu for tools, you start with a cellular, etc.
edit, one hour in: the location is divided into several maps (I know the manor, the underground cave, the mine), you're given lots of phone batteries and food (healing item) AND have a regeneration room, you can throw debris (rocks, wood, bones), the background story is revealed progressively through diary pages and other written sheets, two "monsters" are chasing you (the "scissors boy" has been replaced with "the shovel giant" and some "candela" guy) but you can resist them before they kill you instantly and you can hide (in various places existing for that purpose) until they leave.
You'll have to find the other children who came with you. Also, it seems that there are several endings available.
The most annoying point is the systematic loading phase each time you change rooms.

Has anyone played this?

@LemonSlice I noticed this back then on the japanese e-shop. Is it something like the SNES horror game Clock Tower?
@Rei First thing that came to my mind actually! Funny how I forgot to mention that.
