Yeah according to the WiiU notifications log about the VC update all it says apart from NES & SNES is Gameboy Advance & N64 platforms will be available at a later date
I would bet on Luigi's Mansion and Wave Race first.
When this gets confirmed, anyway.
“A thing may be too sad to be believed or too wicked to be believed or too good to be believed; but it cannot be too absurd to be believed in this planet of frogs and elephants, of crocodiles and cuttle-fish.”
― G.K. Chesterton
Nobody's confirmed it. Reggie's been on record saying that he wants to see Gamecube games on the service, but that's hardly a confirmation.
Still, I like a bit of blind speculation as much as the next guy, so if Gamecube games ever get released on the WiiU VC (which is more than feasible) I'd like to see Super Mario Sunshine, Luigi's Mansion and Paper Mario: TTYD. While the Gamecube had plenty of excellent games, those three are my most favourite, and the most likely to print Nintendo obscene amounts of money.
Well, then you're likely to get your wish. I believe Eternal Darkness was a third-party developed game. I know I read an article about them a little while ago. Didn't the developer become pretty much dead after making an abysmal Spiderman or Marvel game or something?
Silicon Knights, the developer of Eternal Darkness, lost a lawsuit to Epic Games and have had too human and x-men destiny removed from existence for copyright infringement along with the next 3 games they were working on. Eternal Darkness is probably one of the few games they still CAN sell.

They did The Twin Snakes too. Slim chance of that seeing a VC release though.
