Anyone noticed the game lagging in places with lots happening and some places with not alot happening?
There were a couple of little slowdowns in the game during some fights with common enemies in some of the dungeons which I noticed, but it wasn't that annoying in my opinion.
I noticed some lag when activating/deactivating timeshift stones, but not during fights or anything.
I noticed it all over the game but I remember it happening when I was talking to Fi, she was talking find but the text was stopping and starting again. I also noticed it when opening chests late in the game
That is very weird. Perhaps your Wii is dying, cause the only lag I saw was when activating the Timeshift stones. The rest of the game runs very smooth (though not as smooth as the Mario Galaxy games).
Honestly, the one game I really want to see remade at this point is Zelda II, I think the game has a lot of remake potential, especially on an HD machine like the Wii U, would look amazing
That game too...would be great wandering the plains of Zelda 2 in 3D fighting enemies to gain EXP with arranged symphonic BGM And Zelda 3....and Zelda IV (Link's Awakening)...and Windwaker...
For the people who are playing the game...what is / was your favorite enemy in the game? Mine was that three-headed hydra; it looked so cool. The Moblins are nice too, and quite close to the original art in the Zelda II manual...
By the way, I'm listening for the first time to the CD that was packaged with Skyward Sword...memories!!!

That CD is the most amazing thing ever, can't stop listening to it, as for enemies... I like a lot of them, it's too hard to choose, lol
I loved all the enemies in Lanayru Mining Facility. The way they redesigned the Beamos was very unique (slice it down then stab the eye). The first time I saw it I thought you just had to toss a bomb like in all the other Zelda games. And that flying circular robot that shot missiles was a huge surprise. Robots in Zelda? GTFO!
I loved the Hydra, but I found an easy way to kill it: Just spin attack when the heads are lined up, or just waggle like crazy and hit them all in seconds.
A few areas when you activate the Timeshift Stones (in Lanayru Desert) caused the game to lag a bit. Don't know if that's caused by the game, or my Wii is dying.

Yes, that Beamos was great haha, finally these bastards have a weakness to the Sword! As for the Hydras; it's like playing Tic-Tac-Toe
I remember encountering these creatures for the first time... I thought..."Hey, that's a frightened creature that escapes because it spotted me"...well, it turned out to be a enemy! It looks too cute to kill! haha
Don't know if anyone has heard about the "game breaking" bug, where it causes you to be unable to progress if you do a certain quest in the wrong order.
44 hours in and I have to start all over again thanks to it. Yeah it would have to be my first playthrough that I would encounter this bug.
(side note: I too got some lag using the timeshift stones, understandable due to how they cause the landscape to change completely)

What is this bug so I can avoid it? I got the same bug in Metroid other M and don't want to go through that again. From now on I'm copying my file before I start a play session.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
Ok so at a certain part of the game you will be given the freedom to choose which place to visit first (Faron, Eldin or Lanayru) to collect pieces of something.
(SPOILER: pieces of a song END SPOILER)
now just do this order and you should be fine Faron, Eldin, Lanayru. Even though you are given the freedom of choosing where to go, stick to this and you will not encounter a glitch. Apparently though, since I did Eldin, Lanayru and then proceeded to Faron, it ended up skipping the Faron part thus making it impossible to collect the Faron piece.
hope that explains it. (tried hard not to give away too much)
What's this about a Glitch? I'm right at that point where you get the three parts of the last song. I already did the one in Faron and I just went to Lanayru for the next one. Should I leave and go do the Eldin one first? I'm 50 hours in and I'll be pretty mad if my game glitches out this far into the game. Has anybody went to Faron. Lanayru and then Eldin without any glitches?

The glitch can cause your game to break. Meaning you can't continue at all and have to restart the whole game. (similar to the Cannon Glitch in TP)
Since you did Faron first you should be OK. I've also heard if you've started one of the quests, you should finish before switching to another one so you may want to finish Lanayru if you've started it.
Also the site Zeldainformer has more on this issue.
@Tech101 Yeah it's just kind of sad that the one Non linear part of the game can cause your game to break if you don't stay on somewhat of a linear pattern.
Well that sucks. Just like the glitch in Metroid Other M where a certain door wont open if you back track the wrong way. What's with all these glitchy Nintendo games lately? Oh well I guess I'll finish up my buisiness in Lanayru and hope for the best.
