This sounds pretty cool, and being a sequel to the best Zelda games in the entire series makes it more interesting.
Also, I wonder if time travel will straighten out the Zelda timeline, or make it more twisted. (I hope the Ocarina of Time comes back )
Since they have a proven track record of being true about many other games, I'll hold on to this until June then I'll just check off a list of what's in and what's not.
the master sword's cool and all, but it kind of sucked not being able to get anything else in the past 2 zeldas. i miss being able to get the super awesome secret swords which always wound up being better than the master sword. gilded sword rules.

Not TOO many people, judging by Link's Awakening (and, one could argue, Majora's Mask, since she made only a VERY short cameo in the intro).

Ooh psssh, it wouldn't take me all that long to make up ten new rumors about the next Zelda game. Observe:
1) The game takes place in a future version of Hyrule called 'Neo Olde Hyrule' 2) Link's main weapon will be a revolver that shoots ice bullets 3) Later on he will recieve a glowing-blue laser sword that can shoot beams of electricity 4) The first dungeon will take place in a factory that grows vegetables and fruits, to preserve the tradition of a forest temple being the first dungeon 5) Link will ride around Neo Olde Hyrule on a transformable motorcycle/mini-airship named 'Epona' 6) Magic will curiously be re-introduced, so Link will be able to shoot fire-balls and cause earthquakes at the consumption of the Magic Meter 7) All-new items (like the Taser Glove) will be introduced, while old favorites (like the bombs, which will now have the option to be set to detonate at movement detection) see new uses 8) One of the later dungeons involves Link taking a shuttle to the Moon to tackle a labyrinth dungeon with low-gravity 9) The antagonist this time is a crazed genetics scientist who is unleashing horrible monstrosities on the general public and will most likely not feature Ganondorf in any way (until the very end, when he will magically pop out and be the bad guy for no reason whatsoever) 10) Zelda will be playable in a second quest, available after beating the normal game or inputting the name Zelda at the name-creation screen
