Lets call it Zelda III. It would be an overhead action game designed as if it were running on the NES in the same way Megaman 9 did. It would be similar to the first Zelda game but wouldn't use the graphics from the first Zelda game. If it were an actual NES game, the graphics would be very good but not impossible that it couldn't be done on the NES except there would be no flickering of course. There would be modern ideas present perhaps but still nothing that couldn't be done on the NES.

Yes to Zelda II and actually yes to Zelda 1 but I'd want improved graphics and sound. I think I'd prefer them to just reuse the Zelda 3 graphics and make a new game. It would be neat if they kept the graphics simple but made it have changing weather/day-night transitions with different items appearing during those times.

Still I don't think it will happen but any game in a similar style would be enjoyable. If you haven't played Neutopia 1/2 for the Turbografx those are pretty much Zelda clones and they are pretty decent.

If we are talking the original LOZ style? Sure I would, but I would really want a little bit better map than the one in the original. Just something to let me know where I'm going if even as simple as little landmarks.
