So it just dawned on me today that The Conduit will allow you to chat with 12 friends simultaneously in a private lobby/match... Where as WiiSpeak will only allow you to chat with 4 people at once and view 10 people in the channel Lobby at a time! It seems like everyone who has WiiSpeak is getting The Conduit... So Nintendo needs to step it up or it will be a "Ghost Channel".
The only thing it'll be good for is quick photo-sharing.
I've actually never used the WiiSpeak channel as it is. The darned thing hasn't gotten any use since I traded in my copy of Animal Crossing: City Folk.
Also, your topic line should read "Will you use WiiSpeak Channel Anymore?" When I clicked on the topic, I thought you were wondering if anybody would use the DEVICE anymore!
My Backloggery Updated sporadically. Got my important online ID's on there, anyway. :P
If Nintendo dosen't update their Wii Speak Channel soon, it is going to be dead. The Conduit is making Nintendo look very bad. I'm getting The Conduit too, anybody who dosen't buy this game is considered a traitor.
I would actually BUY the dang thing if I find a game that I want to get that will use it. I sure don't see one, and don't you dare say The Conduit, I really am not interested in buying the game (Renting more likely).

Well, given that using the lobby in The Conduit would require me to load the game up and the Wii Speak Channel is something I can just fire up quickly to see if anyone's on wanting to have a go at Dr. Mario, Tetris or Alien Crush Returns, I don't think I'd be forgoing the latter completely (not that any of those things have happened yet!).
I think time zones and personal schedules are more of a problem than anything else!
I'm intrigued by the Wii Speak Channel. Do you guys use it that much? What can you say to recommend it to me?
Once you have it set up [which is very easy],and installed the channel,it is very easy to use. You can be at least 3 feet [and more] away, and you can talk to other Wii Speak users with ease on the Wii Speak Channel. You can share photos while you chat, you can send voice messages [you can even send them to people who do not have Wii Speak],and you can even add friends on the Wii Speak Channel! Plus,it is somewhat cheap. Over here in North America,I bought mine for around $30 dollars. I'll be honest,I was doubtful about buying it at first. But,after buying it,I have no regrets. It is wonderful, and I really suggest that you buy it,you WILL NOT regret it!
While I am interested in the Conduit myself, it's a little early to call people who don't buy it "traitors", especially since the game hasn't even been released or reviewed yet. I can think of several games that were hyped up, only to come out to bad reviews.
