Topic: Wii Internet Browser and Youtube - knackered, or just me?

Just been trying to watch some stuff on Youtube and the Opera Browser on my Wii is offering up a blank space where the video should be. Worked fine the other day. Anyone else getting this?

Ive got it on some. atleast from links, i believe.

top right of where the youtube video should be there are some buttons. click the one that says "view in new window" and it works.

Happens from time to time, try reseting the channel that works sometimes, or switch between standard and XL (think its called XL anyway).

It's British. You need to fortify your diet with more BBC television shows.

Knackered can also mean tired, so if someone says they are knackered it doesn't mean they are broken, sometimes called knacked for short.

Which is waaaay different than being knick-knacked?

Also try deleting cookies (under the settings), I know that the DSi Browser stops loading images if it's allocated memory is full, so maybe the Wii version does the same with video.

Knackered in the UK can also mean being told off, e.g. - I got knackered today when my boss caught me slacking on Nintendo Life instead of working.

And, and to give a new facet to the etymology of 'knackered': one can also be "kicked in the knackers" (crown jewels, balls) and thereby be "knackered".

youtube use to work great but it doesn't seem to load right anymore so i find myself not caring much to use it

I've had this happen several times before. But YouTube videos on NL work fine.
