I seem to recall Sean Aaron really enjoying the game.
You are correct sir! Mostly because it's a maze game and I looooooove maze games, though it does some quirky things. For 500 points it's got enough novelty value that I have no regrets.
I dont' know but there just focused on third-party games mostly NOBODY wants...
Hi, I'm NOBODY.<_<
There are a great deal of people who want 3rd-party VC games. That's why they're releasing them.
As for why they aren't releasing more first-party games, well, they need to save them up. If they release all of them at once, what are they gonna do later?
I know this isn't related to this thread and I'm sorry, but why is the Virtual Console so licensing-sensitive? It seems that any game with licensing issues will never get released because of this. I don't see this present in PSN or Xbox Live Arcade.
You also don't see any Nintendo games on them either (well, with the exception of Xbox Live and Rare). Licensing my friend. They also both have much smaller back catalogs to release compared to Nintendo, since they've been around the longest, so the problem's just not as noticeable.

Well, we all know Nintendo's legal team is paranoid. I think StarTropics 2 is a superb example of this. In the original game, it DOES say you got a "block" at first, because you don't know what they are yet. But shortly thereafter, you're told what they are and it says "you got a Tetrad!" On VC, it was edited to "block" again, which just looks really, REALLY stupid. And *spoiler, sorta:*at the end of the game, the blocks are put together very much in Tetris fashion. That was not removed on VC.
@Mickeymac: I THINK he was referring more to the less popular games, and not necessarily to stuff like ZAMN or Final Fantasy. But with Aquateen, it's hard to be sure.

A question: Has anyone here ever heard of anyone getting in legal trouble for using the word "Yo-Yo?" Frankly, I find the idea absolutely ridiculous, yet it seems to have been a concern of Nintendo's. This question is mostly out of curiosity, though I admit that evidence that nobody's ever cared would even FURTHER prove just how paranoid Nintendo's legal team really is.
I heard that Super FX games will not appear on VC, because of it's graphics and it would be hard to emulate the graphics for Wii.
there were some similar doubts about whether the VC could handle emulating the n64 expansion pak, but majora's mask proved that it could do it effortlessly. i'm sure the FX chip will also be no problem.

I still have hope, but who knows, maybe they could appear on VC!
The big deal with the FX chip has NEVER been stated by Nintendo. It was made up by know-nothing Nintendo FANS. At least, I'm pretty sure that's what it was. Feel free to post a link and prove me wrong.
