The company making it has nothing to do with this. The game is already made. I don't know how many times that can be said. I mean, am I the only person who read this, or what? Nicalis said the game is done. Any blame for its continued absence can be laid squarely at Nintendo and Nintendo only.
I'm trying to still care about when it releases... WiiWare is still the way I want to experience the game, but jerking us around for a year is a little irritating.
cave story is on the way. it's just that there's so many high priority titles in front of it, like Vauge Colorful Puzzle 2, Baby Party: Ultimate Fighter Edition, and Sphere Roller 2: Revenge of the Cubes.
god you people are ignorant (sorry for the insult) if you enter nicals site,thats the devolper of cave story, you would know that the reason it hasnt been realsed yet because he devloping two other games as well as tring to fit all the other content and new extra content into cave story wiiware.so be pation theres a great chance itl be out befor this mounth is over

If all you people are waiting and aching for Cave Story, you can download and play the original game on the PC. It'll still be the same game, but with less fancy things.

i keep checking the downloads each week, expecting cave story to be there only to find out that it actually wasn't even in line to be released yet. then we're told it's done and will come out soon, i start checking every week again, and it happens yet again-
"We’ll have an update on Cave Story and its status next week. The game was resubmitted on Friday."
from nicalis. apparently nintendo didn't accept the game when they submitted it in september (did they have to remove curly's panties?) so it seems like christmas at the earliest now.
