@zeldaismine: You know dude, after seeing your previous posts I'm surprised anyone would still give you suggestions. Calling them names and then asking them for help in the same post? Geez.
Chicken is just suggesting Ocarina as a joke to see if you guys will fall for it. Everyone knows Zelda 1 & 2 are the best, though A Link to the Past is probably the best starting place to see if you're up to snuff for the earlier, harder games, so he was serious about that part of his post. He switched from joking to being serious halfway through his suggestion. He does that a lot.

I wish they'd do another Zelda like Adventure of Link. I really enjoyed it too.
"And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins." Matt. 1:21.
If you like a Link to the Past the best and don't think it's hard (or just don't mind hard games), your next step is to get the original. If you want something different (and even harder), go with Zelda II, which is somewhat similar to a Castlevania game.
About Wind Waker, I think it is a fun game and I like the cartoony style, I got it for $5 new at Gamestop so I can't complain, but I personally like OoT, MM, and LttP better. You actually can't go wrong with any of the Zeldas. (except Zelda II)
OoT was only ok. It didn't really click with me, but I really enjoyed the style of Windwaker and both Windwaker and Majora's Mask had some good adventuring. A Link To The Past is good too, but I also liked the Minish Cap if you have a GBA, It was short but had lots of side quests to do. If you can get a hold of Oracle of Seasons or the other Oracle game for Gameboy, those are really good.
