I really love this game and I agree with Hyper Luigi. It's harder than NSMBW if you go for 100%

The game itself is beautiful to look at and listen to, the gameplay is nice and the environment changes constantly.
Perhaps one of the best 2D platformers I ever played

It's one of my favourite games. It has great graphics, great music and great and level design
getting 100% was pretty hard but fun
It's definately worth the price IMO

Get this game while you can. It's a must own.

Very good game, if it had had a more popular protagonist I think it would have sold double!

The running back to the start with a time limit at the end of every single level is still ruining the game for me.

It's just annoying when I have to use the last one or two minutes in EVERY SINGLE LEVEL to race against time. And to know that some of the challenges have to be done during the running just kills the game for me.

Every now and then I'm thinking I'd like to play the game but then the end of level race comes to my mind and I instantly lose all my will to play it. It's a sad thing because everything before those end-races is very very very fun stuff.

personally I consider this to be the most action packed and fun part of any level. It's a test of skill and reaction to breeze through those levels while you got shot out of the dash machine.

Cons:

A bit short
A bit easy for hardcore-ites
Not as good as Wario Land 4 (argueably)

Have you beat this game 100%? I don't think so.
I'm a "hardcore" gamer and I couldn't do that, so there goes your point out the window.

Frack me, someone tries to give a balanced opinion and some ppl can't handle it. If you disagree with those points, throw your counter points at N-Gamer and ONM who stated the same in their reviews. I never said I entirely agreed with those points myself. In fact, I agree with the pros far moreso. You're a hardcore gamer? Oooh, good for you.

The family and I loved this game and the fact my 6 year old could comfortably complete it bar the final boss lead me to believe that maybe hardcore-ites may find it a bit easy.

i've logged in about 15 or so hours on this game, and i just started on World 4, plus i havent found all the secret levels yet, so this game is far from short (that is if you even try to get 100% if you just run from start to finish you will beat this game in one sitting)

Got to world 3 today. My first impressions are that it looks and sounds and plays better then NSMB. Has more of a come back to and play factor as well. Very polished.

The boss fights are very entertaining.

All in all this is a really understated WII release. Im suprised at the lack of publicity that this game has got as it rivals all of the releases that came out this year and its nearly 2 years old. I hope that there are some other good releases that Ive missed.

Once I finished NSMB, I have no real interest to pursue it any further and I havent booted it for a month now. i still believe that NSMB was a wiiware game upgraded anyway.

Great game. If you are a fan of any of the WarioLand games or great 2d games in general then pick this up.

The game seems a tad easy at first glance but I can see that the replay value is there to unlock the game properly.

A six year old could finish metal slug as well.

some of the best music, period. It's amazing--every stage is different and great.

Really? I thought the music was horrible, and one of the worst aspects of the game. But over all, Shake it is incredible--not as good as Wario Land 4 (which is one of the greatest platformers of all time) but still a great game.

Wario Land: Shake it is great. It's isn't nearly as good as it's Game Boy bretheren, but it's still one of the better Wii games (Which probably says something about the Wii's library as a whole. ). Definitely pick it up.

The only problems are that the submarine levels are very frustrating and control awkwardly, and many of the bonus levels are ridiculously hard (But given how you're always bragging about how hardcore you are, that shouldn't be a problem to you).

I'm glad you're enjoying the game mate, I would say its an "essential" purchase, not just a worthwhile purchase. Criminally underrated in terms of sales.

Replay value is, yes, huge.

As for Metal Slug, well we have Metal Slug 2 and have struggled with some of the levels and some of the bosses. I think they may be the same levels and bosses that Corbie says is "difficult" in his review. But, hey, opinions eh.

I agree. I don't think I could see myself going back and completing all of the challenges a second time -- some of them are ridiculously difficult -- but if you're just playing to complete the levels it's the kind of game you can have a blast playing through in a weekend.
