Well, it will out of print soon, as there are stories on the net circulation about it, so I should suggest you get it soon. I like it. I has some challenging boss fights and it's a welcome addition to my 2D game collection on the Wii.
Well i had a great time with that title (i bought it a year ago) from my point of view it's 9/10 but if i where you (if you haven't bought it yet that is) i would go get as soon as posible since rumors are spreading that it is no longer in production.
Definately worth getting. In my opinion I find it's better than NSMBW (not that NSMBW isn't great). Gamestop has it for 19.99 new (saw it today). It was one of the first games I got the day after getting my Wii for Christmas and still find myself playing it.

Cheers guys. Youve sold it to me. I will be visiting HMV tommorow.
I watched a really skillfull playthrough of Mega Man 9 on youtube and noticed that this high level player had a video of this amongst other good games so it must be good.
Yes the game is great value. The boss fights are quite challenging, and the levels look great. You can spend a lot of time doing the missions in each level, and some of them get pretty hard.
Its an outstanding game but NOT challenging for a hardcore gamer.
Great visuals (best looking 2d platformer ever after Muramasa) Great level design Good humour Excellent 2D Platforming all round SNES style controls and some minor motion controlling. Acessible A lot of fun Great replay value Great value for money now One of the best games on the Wii (a "wii classic")
Cons:
A bit short for hardcore-ites A bit easy for hardcore-ites Not as good as Wario Land 4 (argueably)
Wario Land: Shake It is a great game, yes the game isn't that long but it'll keep you busy finding treasures and doing all the missions for a long time. The final boss appears at about 67% (levels) completion; the levels after the final boss aren't just half-hearted bonuses, most are bigger than the levels that have been before and are some of the best levels in the game. Figuring out how to get all the treasures is great fun too, some quite tricky environmental puzzles to solve along the way, although I found some of the missions quite frustrating. Great graphics and playability throughout the game. I've finished the levels 100%, treasure about 50% and missions about 25% and will try to find more treasures.
Oh, I don't think its short and easy. From a hardcore-ites perspective it has been said to be "a bit" short and easy (I'm 55%-60% towards the hardcore side on the casual-hardcore scale). I for one think its well pitched and the levels have tremendous replay value anyway
"They say video games are bad for you? That's what they said about rock n' roll."
I have this game and I found it to be a good 2-D platformer, with challenge getting 100%, although I got stuck on the 2nd to last boss (I think) maybe I should try it again......

A classic game. One of the best Wii games. Now that it will be soon out of print [stupid move by NOA], I would deftinely get it. Wario Land Shake It is harder than NSMBW. Which reminds me, I need to play it some more soon...

Not really a stupid move, if it doesn't sell well, then there's no point to publish it anymore.
However, this is no reason not to play it. It is one of the greatest games on the Wii IMO
