DUDES!!!! I'm so happy that the release date has finally been announced! Nintendo surprised us with their press release. We were going to do a super cool announcement on Monday that would have blown everyone's minds. But you know, it's not bad that the secret is out now. All of us at Gaijin Games can't wait to hear what you all think of the game!
If it's anything like the Warioware microgame (and I know it is), then I will be more amused by the series than ever. Can't wait to see who these new "friends" are either!

Perhaps they may have high hopes for the game?

@Iz2010, Let me put it this way: RUNNER is maybe my favorite of the series. It's a close one between BEAT and RUNNER for me. I'm excited to get it on my home Wii, so I can play it from start to finish from the comfort of my own couch!
Yeah, RUNNER is definitely the most accessible for a wide audience, I think. We've had gamers and non-gamers alike refuse to put it down while playing it. You may want to pick up RUNNER first, and then if you like that, go back and get CORE and VOID. While there is an overarching story, each game stands alone pretty well.
What am I doing leaving forum posts on the weekend when I should be playing video games! God of War III calls!
Oh Commander Video, don't be silly, you don't have time to play God of War 3! I know Runner isn't out yet, but the fans demand Bit Trip 5!
Can't wait to play Runner. Looks like a perfect mix of my favorite WiiWare series and my favorite genre. Some matches aren't made in heaven, just at Gaijin Games.
By the way, has anyone outside of the office figured out this story of yours yet? I've completed all three games, and I still think I need the Cliff's Notes, haha, not that the cut scenes aren't charming as incomprehensible as they are.
I'm super-curious about Bit Trip 4. Will it be 2D? Will it be 2.5D? Will it be 3D? Will it be a puzzle game? Will it be an RPG? I'm reeeeeeeally excited to see what Gaijin has in store for the final instalments.

Now I'm embarrassed. Runner is 4. Oh how time flies by when you're playing Bit Trip. Previous message edited for posterity.
3D, puzzle, and RPG all seem like pretty awful guesses though (not surprising given their source -- ohhh!). Wouldn't really fit the Bit Trip M. O. Puzzles and RPGs don't lend themselves to rhythm games well, and the series is a bit trip, not a polygon trip.
My guess would be a run and gun. A shoot em up would be a nice finale. Or maybe that's just what I want it to be.
I'd certainly like to see the inimitable Gaijin Games try their hands at puzzles, RPGs, or pretty much any genre, post-Bit Trip (what a sad phrase).
I think it would be epic if BIT TRIP 6 combines gameplay elements from the entire series. That's my wish. It would probably be a total mess, but it would be an epic mess.
How do you knock one of the greatest Atari 2600 titles? Wow.
It's one of those games I remember seeing and thinking "wow, that looks awesome!" and then I play it and realise I'm going be performing the same actions endlessly and the "fun factor" leeches away. If Crane had put in some levels, it would have been excellent.
