Topic: Unbranded Wii game cases question

Hi all, I bought a copy of "Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces" off eBay (brand new). I just noticed that the game case has a different clip holding the disc in and does not have the Wii logo stamped in the plastic above the disc (unlike the rest of my games, of which I have a lot!). Is this not a brand new copy as I thought, or do some games come in different 'unbranded' cases?

I used to have a blog link here. I'll put it back up when the blog has something to read.

Let me check my copy. I bought it from a game store.

Mine has a white DVD case with a 6-pronged disc clip (the clip sort of resembles a snowflake). An unusual shape but not alarming. My other Wii game cases have other disc clip shapes too. There is no Wii logo stamp on the inside of the case anywhere, but then again I don't think I've seen that on many of my Wii games. I checked a few cases (NSMB, Mario Kart, Monster Hunter Tri) and didn't see a Wii logo on the inside of any of them.

Sounds alright to me.

Thanks for the reply, HolyMackerel. I thought it was probably OK (I've bought from the same seller before, with no problems) but as I said, this was the first Wii game I've had without the logo inside the case (out of 30-odd games!). That, along with the fact that it didn't come shrink-wrapped, made me feel a bit paranoid

They've started using them now. I think US's Metroid Other M release had it too. Dont worry though, its still legitimate ^^
