Topic: The Virtual Console is dead.

The difference is that Ultra is a DS game and thus can't be played by those who don't own a DS. Putting an $8 compilation on the same platform and service where the individual pieces are already available for a higher total cost seems counter-productive; why buy one when you can just buy them all for cheaper?

That said, it's Nintendo, so who knows what they'll do. I prefer the looks of the original games myself so I don't really care either way, but it'd of course be a nice addition.

Virtual Console dead, my left foot. Wild Guns came to Wii Shop two weeks ago, and it's a VC game.

I'm surprised this thread isn't locked yet. It's obvious that the VC is not "dead." CASE CLOSED.

And if there's one thing I hate, it's surprises.
