Where we can complain about it's non being out yet for as long as it takes to grace the WiiWare service!
Feel free to talk about it if you've played the PC version, just give warning of big spoilers and try not to use a certain character's real name.

Cave story is my favorite pc game and it was free. You guys should try it on pc for demo purposes atleast. I've said this already a thousand times it seems, but oh well i can never praise this game enough. If anyone has info about the dlc that would be oh so great.

For any of you that have beat it: What weapons did you have at the end? I have missles, the blade weapon, and the one that goes through walls. That doesn't seem to be a good set up because I've never been able to beat the last boss... When the Wii version comes out, I'm gonna go for a different set of weapons and beat that annoying punk =P

What ever you do, DON'T get the Snaker (gun that shootes through walls). Instead, once you get the jetpack, fly up to where the game initially started and trade your Polar Star. You'll get the best gun in the game.

I just wish the freakin' game would come out already. It's installed on my PC, and I've played a little to know I'll be interested, but I've been waiting to play it on WiiWare instead.
I prefer to play platformers on a tv, from a couch, using a controller.

As do I. I'm going look for a TV that accepts PC Monitor input and a game controller for it soon so I can play other games from the couch (still getting Cave Story on WiiWare though for the added content).

If your video card has S-Video or other output, you can just use a TV as monitor instead. (or Dualview, if going w/ an Nvidia card) I had thought about it, but there just aren't many PC games that I use controllers for... even though I have 2 Logitech Rumblepads.
That's what I meant. I guess I worded it confusing because I don't know what the monitor connection on PC is called. I'm going get a TV with the same connection. I have S-Video out on my computer, but it doesn't look good. I'm hoping that the other output thingy comes out better.
