Topic: The Magic Obelisk in the EU

Does anyone know if this game is going to come out in Europe, it has had many good reviews. Why is it taking so long to get to us? I would like the chance to download this please!!

Unfortunately there are no plans to release Super Zack and Wiki Galaxy in Europe or Australia.

Released for 1,000 Nintendo Points in Japan and 500 Points in the US, a European and Australian launch has yet to be confirmed. Game Arts recently gave Cubed3 the chance to review the US version, though, to see whether PAL gamers should be eagerly awaiting The Magic Obelisk.

Game Arts currently has no plans to release The Magic Obelisk in Europe / Australia, and the only way to convince them otherwise is to make your voices heard…so you know what to do!

That was all they said Legend Marioid. Its looks like this game will not see the light of day in Europe. Maybe people can email like i did to show they support but they mention future games possibly being released in the EU not this one!

Maybe so but they should be honest and say that as there are many people that would like this game in the EU.

Even if people wanted it in EU, they still need a publisher in that region as well as having to translate to all the necessary languages for EU

@lz2010, I don't know about publishers (doesn't Nintendo published everything on WiiWare?), but there shouldn't be to much work for translations. As far as I can tell, the game stays english and the documentation is always in english too. I don't know about other countries. I wouldn't be surprised if they would translate it to German. But that wouldn't be a hold up for other countries.

There are english only and also multi language games on WiiWare in EU. But I do not think that this game really needs a translation. I'd gladly download it if there will be a EU release.

They emailed me saying no plans for a European release. I hope they recognise that there's some demand and at least allow someone else to bring it over for them.

Great game. Hope you get it across the ocean.
