The Magic Obilisk was removed from the wiiware service
Why did they remove it instead of some of the horrible games on the service?

No I looked at every single game on the service and it isn't there
I even searched for it by its title and it said no software currently available

The magic obelisk does look really good but I'd much rather have Xenoblade chronicles, it looks amazing!

Not to be a debbie downer but one of the most obvious reason would be if Game Arts has closed.

Yea kinda suck that THIS gets taken off and not some OTHER "game". Happy Hollidays, Fireplacing, etc....

I'm gonna hold out hope and think that perhaps there is a bug or something that they convinced Nintendo to let them fix. Other studios have went down such as the one behind that samurai toaster game and those games are still up.

Give it a day or two and then check for it again. Sometimes the Shop Channel hiccups and you won't be able to find a game, and then it'll be back all of a sudden — i know i've seen it happen before myself.
