This was shown tonight, for the upcoming game The Conduit. One major good news that they announced is the friend roster. Now You can import your friends that are on your Wii and dont need to import their Wii friendcodes. (together now (YES!)) You can even see your friends list, and send an invite to their friends. (Once again, together now (YES!)).
And since they announced that you can import your Wii friend roster, who wants to add me, and prepare for the battle? Wii Name: Marcel Wii Number# 1867 6304 7126 9336

I will add you tonight (the tv is being used and I dont want to bother my brother) btw, great find, this is fantastic news my friend code is: 4671 3912-6256-7004 my name is jangonov
Any fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius - and a lot of courage - to move in the opposite direction. - Albert Einstein on the Wii
I can't either! I thought friend code only for Wii Speak was going to stop them from bending the rules, might as well put it back as my most anticapated title.
I'm in, here's my Wii Friend Code: 0073-5095-1348-6720
Expect me to get the game June 23, 2009-Christmas, 2009. Will be worth the wait.
The informatoin with the Wii friend import is new. I never read that anywhere.
It was announced here and IGN weeks before that you just used the system's friend code. Hopefully more games start using this method. Friend codes = good. Individual codes per game = annoyingly cumbersome.

I agree with you to that 100%. Regardless if the game is good or not, you have to recognize high voltage foe their efforts and dedication for the Wii

Ok.....here is my question: I haven't heard anyone announce this but, is is possible to join up with friends in a worldwide match? This is the deal breaker for me. I don't want to take on worldwide matches without being able to "party up" with my friends in the game. Anyone have an official word on this?
Unclear; I would think so, but there's going to be added overhead to make that work well without a lot of latency issues (restricting speech geographically as has been said might help with that).
wii code= 3691 7204 9657 0106 nickname= blockhead I have added mdee14 and jangonov but i couldnt get smash fans to work. for the others please add me i will get the game day one

HVS brought this up awhile ago b4 so many other details emerged. I learned from gonintendo the answer is yes. You will be able to play and trash talk with whoevers on your friend list in a worldwide match; like Mario Kart with Wiispeak
