Topic: Tatsunoko vs Capcom - More info

I'm no traitor to this site, but i found some info on gamespot regarding tats vs capcom details for anyone interested:

Im not all cheers about this, because in the new features they didnt mention any feature to turn off tag battles and just have a straight one on one fighter if you want, u also cant increase the team size in multiplayer either. Not a big deal but to me it takes out some fun elements, but definitely not enough fun to sway me into not buying this. Its still top of my wii list right now

Um...call me ignorant, but what kinds of characters are in the "tats" universe?

lol trust me man, i don't know any of them from their tv shows, but some of them look cool i must say after seeing them on youtube. For me i like Batsu, ken the eagle, and ippatsuman or watever, they look cool. But do i really know the "tats" guys, no way lol, weird choice to make a game where no one knows have the guys, maybe theyre trying to introduce new IPs to NA and EU

The article states that online matchmaking will be much better than in Japan. Well, any online matchmaking is better than none I guess. ???

Seriously. The gaming media is taking his quote out of context. He didn't specifically say that, but I think most people are assuming that's what he said. He just said that the online experience will be better. he didn't say what it would be better than. But all these websites and blogs are interpreting it as saying it'll be better than the Japanese online experience.

maybe ur right maybe he means better than most online games, or something, but that was a weird way of saying it i must agree

As an aside, I believe Yoshitaka Amano (The original Final Fantasy concept artist/illustrator until FF7) designed several of these Tatsunoka characters.

From the Capcom side, I want to see the classic Blue Bomber and Ken and for the Tatsunko side, I want to see Speed Racer, but I'm not sure who should be the second Tatsunko character. Just getting one new character to replace the missing Tatsunko Vs. Capcom character will be fine with me.

And don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with MegaMan Volnutt. I don't know why having him in Tatsunko Vs. Capcom was such a problem to begin with.

BTW, it was lightning kf who complained about not having the classic Blue Bomber.

I would also like to see Mega Man, along with Strider for new Capcom characters. Or Arthur (is that right?) from Ghouls N' Ghosts. I know next to nothing about Tatsunoka, so I'm not sure...I hope they include some bonus content like video clips, or at least some bios so can have some context for those characters.
