Topic: Super Paper Mario Question

This is a bit of an odd question, but can Super Paper Mario be beaten without pointing the wii remote at the screen (therefore not requiring the sensor bar)? I read that pointing is used to find hidden secrets, but is it absolutely necessary to beat it? My IR camera on my remote does not work, but I'd like to play this game. Thanks

Seeing as pointing sometimes reveals the path to take (or the clues for which path to take), then.... yes, you're probably going to have to use pointing at some parts to clear the game. You'll also use the pointing to basically "tattle" the enemies; that is, you point at enemies to learn about them.
So there ya have it. Sorry about the IR Camera on your controller. Nintendo's official Wii Remotes are quite expensive, but you can get third-party Wiimotes for fairly cheap.
