i want to know what are the odds of this game being released

Well, I don't think anyone here has an inside source, so I'm afraid you'll have to look elsewhere.

Hopefully they'll announce it at E3 (along with pikmin 3)

I hate to say it but I think Star fox is dead and buried. They'll just keep rehashing Star fox 64.
Be honest, That's the only one that matters anyhow. The original has aged terribly and a VC release doesn't even seem likely at this point.

It's likely we'll see a new Star Fox game for the Wii revealed at E3 2011.

It's either Star Fox or F-Zero for this E3, it will be amazing !

I still have a feeling it's going to be neither of those. It's all about 3DS this year. Oh and no they won't be revealing the next home console. It's too soon. The Wii is only four years old.

Im kinda leaning towards the 3ds version than a Wii version. Mostly because the 3ds has all the cool new features, and the wii is sorta older now. Not that i don't like the Wii anymore, but where talking about Star Fox.

We already know we're getting a Star fox 64 remake on 3DS. I can't see them making that and an all new Starfox so close to eachother.

The wii is old but its still selling ( nintendo has been changing consoles every 4th or 5th year i think ) , so nintendo will have to give this year to the 3ds , but it would be amazing to see one of those franchises.
I personally liked the Star Fox Assault, but it never got really popular because "it is not like Star Fox 64"

I don't see Nintendo just ignoring the Wii and not announcing any more new games for it, Skyward Sword will be a big game for them, but not big enough to only release that and nothing else. They'll definitely have a big focus on 3DS but they'd be stupid not to have a few big surprises for the Wii, and with Star Fox, F-Zero and Pikmin absent this generation from the Wii hopefully one (or all) will be announced.

While I agree that they won't forget about the Wii and that we'll see some Wii surprises at E3, don't forget that they've already announced new Kirby and Pokémon games for Wii.

It would be awesome if there was a F-Zero game on the 3DS. It would probably look great in 3D.

Miyamoto stated in a recent interview that Star Fox,F Zero,and Pikmin are not dead and that he has plans to release new games for these series on the wii soon.

I could see an E3 2004 type reaction to a new starfox game for wii. They could show the sky with a bunch of ships coming straight towards the camera; as the camera pans over to the pilot of a ship, the audience sees Fox Mcloud and everyone screams in applause!
"Sorry to keep you waiting!" _{No, just kidding...}

Actually, the opening line would be this: "It's about TIME you showed up, Fox!"

Or they find a way to add new gameplay that doesn't suck.

Screw the people who will whine about it, I'd be fine with a short game if it was like 64.

A remake of the unreleased Star Fox 2 would be nice too

I still have that official Starwing T-Shirt somewhere, great times. This was the game that made me like crazy. 1993. Good year.
