Ok, a while ago i got brawl working for about 3 months. then after it stops, i use a wii lens cleaner but brawl still won't load, does anybody know why?
i have a wii u! send me a request with the message "nintendo life" in it without quotes.
Is it your disc? The disc might be too scratched up to work properly.
Then again, the Wii is pretty forgiving because my friend's Brawl is pretty beat up (he leaves it in the Wii and like moves the Wii around a lot) but it still works. Then again, I have a younger friend whose Brawl is super beat up and no longer works.
It is most likely the disc. Try loading another game you have and see if it works. If other games work, then it is not the Wii. Furthermore, lens cleaners are a scam that have evolved from the VHS cleaners which also did nothing. I wonder if anyone even remembers VHS cleaners?
If it's still under warranty, send the Wii and game disc to Nintendo. Here's the information on it. It's probably the Wii, especially if other Dual-layer games don't work (MPT, M: OM).

As far as I know, brawl is the only dual layer disk for wii. @2 it also depends where the scratches are. Disks have an index that the reader finds to launch the basis of any program, and then accesses all the other data through that index.

No, it's not. I know at least Metroid Prime Trilogy is also dual-layer.
Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.
