The part where you play as the monkey is irritating!
There is a bit of lag when throwing its sh*t. and the monkey cant shoot and move at the same time.... that's about all that irks me
Thankfully its only for 2 stages and there is a mode where you can choose to play as the later phases of human in earlier stages.

How long is it? Are you done with it yet? (Thanks, by the way )

edit: I've only gone through easy on the two modes.... BTW easy is remarkably difficult. I have only been able to evolve to Knight so far but i know that modern military is obtainable

I'm pretty sure the monkey is throwing coconuts rather than faeces (unless the ops guide says otherwise), but beyond that, yeah the game is really hard; I can only progress past the monkey stage on Easy!

coconuts are the alternate fire... much like a grenade however you only get a few of them.

yah that's why I prefer playing as the Cave man or Knight... also because they are significantly stronger

Well I downloaded this hours ago. Thanks Jpfan, and Sean for your impressions. After i heard that it wasn't easy to beat from you and Sean I downloaded it. Been playing it most the day. (game says about 4 and1/2 hrs, approximatle) I just took breaks here and there.
Anyways I just beat the medium Campain, first option. Guess i have to play hard campain as i didn't get to play everything there was apparently. All in all I really liked it. In my opinion it was 5 dollars well spent. If you liked Cabal, I'll bet you'll like this (That was the case with me with both)

Nah didn't get around to it yet....still planning on it but haven't fired up the Wii yet....it was a pretty videogameless week, mostly work. I plan on picking it up some time soon though due to my overabundance of all things light gun.

on this game there really wasn't a good ending, at least for normal (just so you all know) I just went Through special on normal. I tried hard, but that'll probably take me quit awhile to beat. I didnt want to be up forever.

Wow, I'm impressed you've beaten it already! I'll admit I haven't fired it up in quite some time, but it's a nice little arcade game to be sure.

@Sean: Well, beating it in normal only gets you to the midevil part. Must have to do hard for the gun and grenade part. I'd did use that guy when i when back and played the special (or whatever it was called) campain. It wad cool to be able to kick butt that way (still only went to midievil)

The ending felt like "congratulations!!! You are single handedly responsible for the genocide of another species!"

jpfan: did you beat hard already? I was in the level where the things pop outa the ground but my fiance came over so I eventually stopped so she wouldn't have to 3atch me play that for who knows how long(it was hard level).
Have to try later when she leaves.

How's the medieval era? That looks pretty cool.

I've been excited about this. It looks silly, but I think if you're a Cabal fan it looks great. Thanks for the impressions, guys, it sounds like it's way worth the 5 bucks even if it's not mind blowing. My brother and I spent many an hour bonding over 2p Cabal, so I'm hoping the 2P is fun for next time he is over for a visit. Does it include something like running into the distance after clearing each screen, like the comical victory dance of Cabal?

@Ren: No it doesn't. I was going to mention that but i think i was trying figure how to say it, so then i left it out. I dont know it they even try to do anything silly on purpose. The silliest thing that i can recall were lizardmen runing around in giant wheels (stone i pressume). I wouldn't expect silliness or you might be disappointed.

@KS8: have you played Cabal? picture that but in a midieval setting. What exactly do you want to know?

I don't mind that it's not intentional. It kind of looks low-rent enough to just be ridiculous silly without it being on purpose. As long as it's fun, I tend to enjoy a lot of games that I think have really dumb storylines or animations. Maybe I should start a thread on that theme "Funnest games that are actually pretty stupid when you think about them too much".
