Topic: SD card question

I finally filled up my 2GB sd card on my Wii, mostly thanks to the demos, and I'm planning on getting a new one. Right now I'm looking at an 8GB SDHC by PNY. My question is about the class. Namely, what class was the official Wii sd card? You know, the white one? The one I'm looking at is a class 4, and I'm fine with that as long as I'm not going down a class from my current card.

Class is about speed (2 = 2MB/s, 4 = 4MB/s, 6 = 6MB/s and 10 = 10MB/s) and it won't hurt getting one faster or slower than the "official" Wii SD card. I'm not 100% sure but considering the official Wii SD card doesn't have a class written on it's packaging it's probably less than 2MB/s. So get whatever one you think is best, if they have a class they're probably better than the "official" card.

My 2GB SD card has a 6 point something MB transfer speed and it works perfectly fine.

@WiiAboutU be careful not to confuse MB/s with Mb/s and the "x" ratings with the class. 6MB/s, 6Mb/s, 6x and Class 6 are all VERY different things.

....... not that it matters that much for the Wii
