Who's butt do we have to kick to get this game on the Wii?

Since it's coming to XBLA I'm not personally concerned, but yeah, I'd be a little disappointed if I didn't get to play it. It looks like a River City Ransom that's...worth playing.

It's funny, though...from the "screen shots" of the game on the back of one of the issues (I forget which) I got more of a Mega Man vibe. Not that I'm disappointed...and God knows there are enough RCR references in the comics to justify a similar video game...but I found that interesting.

Yeah, I guess if you have Xbox or PS3 everything is cool.

It's just that the comic has soooo many Nintendo References, that it's only natural to be played on the Wii.

Probably because of the file size.

Thanks given to Xkhaoz for that one avatar.

Oh yeah, absolutely. His band's name in particular is hilarious.

I agree totally. Despite a few references to Sonic the Hedgehog, Scott's totally a Nintendo kid. Cannot wait for this film.

File Size... There was more than one book, so in theory there could be more than one chapter, and then everyone could be happy.

It's stupid that a game based on a comic book series that's filled with nintendo references isn't on a nintendo console.

I know right? Even if it's a disc release, I want this game on Wii. Giving us more Rabbids and nothing else is unacceptable at this point. >: (

Because Ubisoft are evil morons.

I agree with a disc release... I really want to get my hands on this game, but all I gots is a Wii.

No, it can fit. Ubisoft chose not to release it on the Wii.

Bet it's the lame 40MB size to blame. PS3 I have, so if I feel the need I'll grab it. Oddly I never heard of this series until the game was talked up, then saw like 4 books at retail when in a store. Go figure.

I read a quotation recently from one of the developers that said he was only allowed to confirm it was coming to XBLA and PSN. You never know, there may be some light at the end of the tunnel though this is just a rumour of course!

^ I hope you're right, man. I've seen TONS of unhappy people wanting it on the Wii everytime the game is brought up, maybe Ubisoft has noticed.

Given the choice, I'd buy it on the Wii, as nearly all of my downloadable games are there, and I don't like switching between systems if I don't have to. Assuming the prices are comparable, of course. Which they sometimes aren't...

The books have been around for a few years now. You just have to be an alterna-comic geek to have really heard of them before the movie.

and yeah for the hope of a light at the end of the tunnel.
