(I'm not sure why I can't get a"Perfect" rating, I've played through it twice now without missing a cue)
I've only played the DS game myself, but in that one you can only get "Perfect" on a minigame if you are given a chance to. It'll have a little thing saying "try for perfect" or whatever on a certain game, and you get three chances. Not sure when it happens, I think you have to have an amount of Superb ratings.
Ah, that's probably it.
I totally see myself choking when the opportunity arises, but at least I now know that I have the potential to do it without screwing up.
Anyways yeah "Perfects" only show up on games you got "Superb" on...if you want to try and get a head start on practicing, the cafe dude will sometimes tell you what game will have a Perfect soon. So talk to him often...Also, when it does appear, you get 3 tries. (quitting counts as one too, obviously, lol)

Keep it PG-13-ish.
I knew it, I totally choked on my perfect attempts. I screwed up once on each try of my Perfect attempt at See-saw, and on my last two tries at Fork Lifter, I missed the very first piece of food and then missed nothing else the rest of the way.
Also, I think monkeys are my big nemeses in this game. I guess I'm okay at Tambourine now, but I can't seem to consistently get my timing right with almost every stage that involves them.
lol yeah what I don't get is that on any other time I do perfect or near perfect on my best games...yet when the actual Perfect appears...I screw up. xD I hate the monkey games in this one too, all except Hole-in-One (where I have a Perfect). Tambourine I think my timing and memory on that one is cruddy, and Monkey Watch is just evil. xD

...Ugh, if only I could record this...my sister was doing the Tambourine game. She just started randomly pressing after a few seconds....and ended up getting "Ok" somehow....it awesome. xD She was just gonna keep getting "Try Again" until it'll let her skip it, (I skipped it too, it was evil) but whatever. Doing horrible was ok to the game. xD

I tend to not move on from a stage until I've gained its medal. So far I have 32 medals, 9 perfects and another half-dozen or so "argh, I was one missed cue away from perfect!".
Twice in a row I missed the very last monkey of Monkey Watch after playing the whole level flawlessly. All I could do was shake my head and laugh.
Remix 8 is hilarious. I always laugh when the love song is interrupted by the badminton guy suddenly yelling BADA BABA, BADA BABA.
Remix 9 is insane compared to Remix 8
It's crazier and more difficult in places
I know! I was just saying 8 is funny. I actually found it surprisingly easy once I got used to the unprecedentedly frantic pace. The baseball parts were difficult, that's all, that I recall. R9 took a lot of tries.
Also, I still have no idea how the stupid tapping game works. The rhythm seems random for the change-up parts.
Just found this review of RHF, coupled with some iOS title I can't be bothered to know about, and it's definitely out there and worth a read, if only for its originality in review style. Definitely not one you read on every other site. A note of caution: If you further explore the site, do it at your own risk, as the website and its sponsors have no problems with use of profanity. There's none in this review, but I can't guarantee the same thing about the advertisements you see or other articles on the site.
I've been loving this game for a few weeks now. I love it more than the DS one and possibly even more than the GBA one. Two player modes quite short, but the singleplayer is great and only has one game I despise: Love Rap.
Anyone else unlock Munchy Monk yet? I knew who it was going to be just by the name. His eating game on the DS was one of my favorites and now I've been addicted to his endless game on RH Fever. Plenty of cameos in that game as well.
