Topic: Reel Fishing Challenge?

The review doesn't sound too promising. I was thinking about getting it until I read the review. The review said it wasn't even the best fishing game and probably not a good one, or something like that. What's your opinion

I haven't caught a fish yet, but I MIGHT have only played less than an hour. I don't like how when you throw the default lure, it "zooms in" (for lack of a better word, but if you miss a fish's bite, it takes your line out. You don't seem to be able to just reel as much as you want until it reaches land. Also, it seemed to me, that after you zoomed in if you didn't move then it'd take you out too. I'd have to play again to make sure. I did try another lure and it went to an underwater view, which I liked. I need to do that one some more to see if it feels better.

Hoping to hear it improves for you, longtimegamer. I have my eyes set on it but it's not an essential game that I'd get right away.

Well. One good thing about my Water Warfare problems is that I spent more time with this.
Wish I had changed lures earlier. Nice to know I wasn't just stuck with that one lure till I caught something.

Anyways. I played a bit more and I am finally enjoying myself. Haven't caught a trout yet, but caught some char. I love how they look and move when they show you what you caught. There is a 3 minute timer, and though it was said that there was no penalty for not catching the goal in time, if you think about it, there actually is. You have to start over. Thats the penalty. Which sucks if you got close and it was really difficult. You only fish from a very small area so far too. It all looks and sounds nice too. Maybe I was quick to judge. I did know that You (KS8) wanted to hear about it so I gave you what I had then. Though it wasn't alot at the time. Could have had a slightly bad attitude at the time.

I guess I'll tell more later.

@KnucklesSonic8- Just went back, played for around a half hour, and now I'm p*ssed. I beat the first level, catching 2 trout and went to 2nd level. I have to catch 1 trout and 2 char now. Now everytime I try to bring a trout in they're breaking my lines left and right! I finally decided to go with a 40pound testline and they snapped THAT like it was nothing. Quit right after that. Catching fish isn't this damn hard in real life(unless maybe it was a huge fish, I guess). I wonder how far the revier played through this.

How long have you been playing the game since you got it (approx.)?

@KnucklesSonic- Not sure. (2hrs? Maybe less or more by a little.)

What are your biggest complaints for this game? Do you feel the 500 Points could've been better spent on something else?

Ive played for about an hour and havent caught anything buy char. How the f did you catch a trout? Which lure? Straight cast or angle? This game is full of fail.

KnuckleSonic8- Sorry I really haven't played much of this still. Need to try again sometime.
One of my big compliants might be how the fish act toward the lure.
Also I'd like more room to fish. Sometimes (in certain areas of the screen) you throw out and don't have much time to attract fish there.

be nice if we had more places to fish too.
