I was thinking about buying a Wii Sports game for my new-ishly acquired Wii U.
I really don't have too much budget, so I wanted to ask:
Should I buy either:
Wii Sports
Wii Sports Resort
Wii Sports+Resort double disk thing
All the games in Wii Sports Club.
Also, if anybody has these games and wants to sell them or knows somebody who is selling them, let me know!

Probably Wii Sports Resort, then Wii Sports Club.

Some of the appeal of Wii Sports Club was online play, enhanced controls, and the ability to buy games a la carte. Wii Sports Resort has a couple of the best games of Wii Sports (golf, bowling), while also having some really good editions of table tennis, basketball (especially three-point contest), and frisbee. The only thing I would feel you were missing was regular tennis, which you could buy a la carte in Wii Sports Club.

Might be worth verifying that there are no other significant enhancements in the Wii Sports Club versions of golf and bowling. Golf did have a cool mechanic with the game pad on the ground, but I wouldn't say it's a core gimmick.

Is Wii Sports Club digital?

Last I knew, prices of physical copies of that game were crazy and probably not worth recommending to buy it.

I think you can get it digitally but you have to buy each sport individually. I've only ever played it using the 24-hour free trial you can get though.

There is a physical release of Wii Sports Club in USA, Japan and PAL version but the price on Ebay is expensive especially the USA version.

The original Wii Sports is cheap and still fun. It also has the advantage of not requiring motion plus, which makes it easier for multiplayer.

If possible get the Wii sports+ resort disc as it offers the most value when purchased cheap
