I don't see the need for reluctance. Sure, they aren't same company they were in the 90s, but this game is from their 90s era.

Perfect Dark was the last FPS I thoroughly enjoyed. It will be interesting to see what Rare does with achievements and online play. They just don't make FPSs like that anymore. 'Sigh'

I hav a N64 also,and it still works! Mine is one of the early ones,made in 1996 or 1997. When was yours made?

Playing with the hearts of Wii-only gamers who are for some reason convinced it'll hit the VC is a cruel trick.

Maybe they'll announce Jet Force Gemini and Conker's Bad Fur Day for XBLA next.

I hate the XBLA for taking away memories of Rare games on the N64, it's not fair! If Nintendo doesn't do something about it, the Nintendo 64 will more likely be remember for it's embarrising library on the Virtual Console then as the 3D revolution it's known for now. Why couldn't the starter of the thread be honest?

I still have this for my N64, so I am good. Plus I don't need people to play this as I like the bots in the game anyway. )

Yea, I didn't lie, I don't see what the big deal is. It is confirmed for Xbox, which basically means its confirmed not to be coming to VC, which makes it relevant to the forum. No joking about it. I thought it would be good to know for those who have been keeping their hopes up all this time so they could stop carrying the torch. Sad times for us non-Xbox owners, but oh well. Carry on.

Your lucky. Mine broke, so I don't have that oppertunity. I don't even know if my computer is even capable with N64 ROM, which I'm starting to resort to for games not on the Virtual Console.

Used N64s are inexpensive, as are their games. If you have ethical problems with ROMs (I don't play them, but I certainly won't judge those who do), you should be able to get this game with an N64 for probably under $50. Check around Ebay if you haven't already.

I wanted this game, saying how fun it looked and how cool everything was. Saying that Rare made it, they should have it on Nintendo, too.

But they are too lazy to do that too.....

I feel that they should spend more time on fixing the way the port looks. It should better on the Wii, but I guess they wanted it so that it feels like you're playing it from that actual system....

Nevertheless, they should have this game on Nintendo too.
