Wow. This is bad form. Max & The Magic Marker may be a great game but I'd rather them keep up the VC releases too. There must be something they have lying around waiting to be released that they could give us. Indiana Jones was rated recently. I thought we would be getting today. But no.
i wonder what the overall stats are for the VC releases over the past 18 months. i bet it would make for a real eye opener. if somebody is able to do it, maybe the list could be broken down for each territory, and console VC releases.
Oh once again, congratulation Nintendo you know what keep your wiiware crap for you am not going to download any game ever again and tomorrow am going to sell my remainig pointscards and buy good games from ebay for example Lufia, illusion of time ect wiiware is boring especially those crappy games that noone wants if Nintendo doesnt suport good games they arent worth my money i think wii is my last nintendo console the next generation will be xbox
me too those old games are way better than this new crap @Bass 2nd week? for Uk maybe but here in Germany we didnt get shadow dancer so ist for nearly 4 weeks now that we didnt get any VC stuff
If they are going this route, why doesn't Nintendo at least have all of their games re-rated (500 bucks each ain't gonna break them) and just throw all their games on the service. It pure profit for the companies for crying out loud. That way they can focus on the WiiWare and everyone is happy.
Watch them drag their feet and games people want like Earthbound or Chrono Trigger will be released the week before their new system drops.
I am the one you despise. I am he who says what you really deep down know but are affraid to admit. I am the Anti-Fanboy, the crusader of truth in a world built on your lies.
My sympathies, guys. It's really pathetic how Nintendo can make a guy HAPPY for one crappy (or at least uninteresting to the person in question) game a week. I don't understand how this happened in the first place...NoE was the one that had it together only a few months ago (Majora and Smash early being the main downloadable reasons, but that's enough IMO)!
My Backloggery Updated sporadically. Got my important online ID's on there, anyway. :P
To be perfectly honest I have been giving thought to drafting an email to NOE to let them know exactly how disappointed I am with the way the VC has turned out. For me who for the most part finds modern games a bit soulless and dull the VC was the main reason I bought the Wii and had I realised that three years after launch I would still be waiting for Super Mario Kart I would have kept the money in my pocket and looked into buying a SNES, NES and N64 as well as collecting the games.
I have been under whelmed with most of the Wii games I have purchased and pretty much doubt I will get the next Nintendo home console.
Well, Super Mario Kart's been rated by the OFLC at the very least...plus the USK, I believe...and that means it's on the horizon. Even though there's been a lot of disappointment, we must remember one simple fact; namely, Nintendo intends to save the best for last. That means over the next few years we could be seeing Super Mario Kart, Starwing, Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island...hey, I'd even be happy to welcome Super Mario All-Stars if it were to see the light of the Wii Shop Channel!
So lighten up! Don't feel depressed by what we don't have yet and maybe download something that is out that you've been considering!
Friendly friends! Keep up your gaming! YOOM-TAH!

I must admit to being very disappointed. The major problem I have is the number of games are seemingly just waiting to be released such as Super Mario Kart and Final Fight 3. I just don't understand Nintendo's line of thinking by holding these releases back. Virtual Console was one of the main reasons as to why I purchased a wii. I wanted to relive the classics I enjoyed in my childhood and to play some of those I may have missed out on first time around. To see it now being neglected like this is saddening.
a few weeks without a VC title is hardly the end of the world, plenty to choose from as is, see no need for a random mandatory VC title every week.
sorry but you're out of touch by saying that. this board, nay the entire site is focused upon whats coming in the next update. To us, VC releases are important. Its why we're here.
You could say the same thing about any hobby but from a fan's perspective, you'd be wrong. there's a lot of games being released in america that we europeans want to play too on the VC but can't.
And its not the case of simply buying the old consoles. We'd be on the retro forum instead of the VC forum. I could play Super Mario Kart if I wanted to; all I'd have to do is buy a new wire to connect my SNES to the TV and I'm sorted. But I'd rather play it on the VC on my Wii.
Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.
I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!
Of course I'm wrong and out of touch, only the great bass could speak for the board nay entire site I didn't say I didn't like VC, all I stated was I don't see a reason why it should be 1 random game a week, US went ages without Brawl and some of whinging was pathetic, big N will release VC games in due course, no need to get worked about it.
