I got an email today saying my disc has shipped and should arrive by tomorrow. I'm going to test it out this weekend and will report back. I haven't had a great experience with Netflix on our 360, which I believe is due to our DSL service not quite being able to hand the HD streams being sent over it, so I'm hoping the Wii version will work better for us. I presume that for the Wii it will send a 480p stream and hopefully the results should be better and more consistent. If it looks like a 480p DVD, I'll be quite happy.
really? they havent send me anything, thats weird but anyway, i hope they send the discs here to mexico, i would like to try some netflix awesomeness
it's restricted to the U.S. through the IP address.
So ends a saga older than time itself. The World's oldest and fiercest army has been led to victory, and a lost generation is delivered from its fear of extinction. As the sun sets over the field of conflict the dinosaurs disperse, hoping never to set foot in this place a...
I'm definitely keen to see a similar service in the UK, though with DVDs going for as little as £3 we've started actually buying them and then giving them away if we don't think they merit re-viewing.
I'm already accessing Netflix on my PC's and my 360 so this doesn't really intrigue me, although I think it'll be awesome for people with a Wii as their sole console.
I was watching Attack of the Show when they mentioned the discs were being shipped. I immediately checked my mail and, sure enough, I got my Wii streaming disc! It was a pain activating it using the Wii browser though. The "activate" button wouldn't work on the Wii so I had to go on the laptop. It's working now though so I'm happy!
As I got on the forum just a minute ago, my brother walks in with my disc so I'll check it out in a bit. Although if you have to have the movies already qued like it seems from the instructions (all 3 of them lol) then it won't really be worth it.

I got the disc in the mail today! Will try it after my brother is finished watching TV.
I think it will work well for me because my Wii streams Nintendo Channel videos fast without any lag in High Quality. That's because I have my router right next to the Wii, where when it was farther away, there was a lot of lag. I guess the farther your Wii is from the router, the longer it takes to exchange data with it, so if you want a steady experience I recommend doing that.
I'm pretty okay.

I'm guessing this is a beta because when I went to the Netflix site it said streaming for the Wii would be available in the Spring. So I entered my e-mail address to be notified when I could get it.
