Hmm...I'm gonna have to say that the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games had some pretty shocking twists within them. The part during Rescue Team where everyone wanted to kill you was pretty intense. - - - Spoiler alert - - - In the most recent Mystery Dungeon games, Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky, it was pretty insane whenever you get dragged into the future by Dusknoir, and then are trying to escape back to the past. That part feels pretty hopeless. That feeling is also abundant in Special Episode 5.

In the Co-op of James Bond: Everything or Nothing, there is a level where you are infiltrating a building. There is one part where you actually see Bond behind a glass wall. He says, "Good evening," and then walks out. This is the same building from single player that bond blows up with a bomb. I thought that was cool. Speaking of which, the level where you're repelling down the exploding building in single player was pretty awesome, as was the part where one of Bond's girls gets thrown off a mountain, and then the player is put into a free falling section as Bond to try and rescue her.
I haven't played Final Fantasy Tactics Advance in a while, but I remember it was pretty heartbreaking when all of your friends turned against you.
-The Avalanche levels in 1080 Snowboarding for the Gamecube. -Fighting Tabuu in Smash Bros. Brawl. I love how hard they made the guy, but man! -Finding out that Ganondorf and Mewtwo were unlockable characters in Smash Bros. Melee. -Fighting Dark Samus on the elevator in MP2 for the first time. -I thought the ending to Need for Speed: Most Wanted was pretty awesome. Outrunning all those cops was a blast! -When the King of Hyrule floods the sunken Hyrule and Ganondorf starts laughing insanely. That laugh gave a lot of character to Ganondorf. I loved how they did it. Also, when Link stabs Ganondorf through the forhead. I really didn't see that one coming.

At the end of Final Fantasy X when Yuna runs into Tidus' arms and she falls right through him as he's fading away. Very emotional after a fantastic game. Still gets me when I see it.
