Zelda Wii’s official title is “The Legend of Zelda”. There will be no subtitle.
The game tells a story several hundred years before Ocarina of Time.It also answers the question of how the Mastersword came into being. The fairy-like girl plays is a very important character in the game. Her Name is Zordiana.
The Hookshot is also in the game and it has new abilities. It will not pull you immediately to the target you aimed. Now it is possible to swing with the Hookshot, like with the Grappling Hook from WW. The Hookshot makes no use of Wii Motion Plus.
Sometimes you have to “draw” a specific symbol on a door with your sword, to open it.
The Bow-Control is very similar to the Bow-Control in Wii Sports Resort, as the script shows.
There are two levels of difficulty. Aonuma put it through. Miyamoto didn’t want to include it.The Normal-Mode for amateurs. The Hero-Mode has no “Super Guide” included and the enemies tougher.
The On-Stage Dungeon, which is also playable at E3, isn’t a Dungeon as we know it from the Zelda series. When entering a Dungeon, you will not notice you are in one. It will be a smooth gradation. There will be Dungeons with no Bosses and Bosses with no Dungeon. The “Dungeon” you are able to play at E3 will be an Ice-Level. It will be the frist “Dungeon” in the Game.
Am I meant to believe rumors that came from a "these come from a random German forum"?
QUEEN OF SASS
It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!
I wonder if any of this is true, if it is then it seems strange that there no subtitle and hookshot not using MP+ just seems odd. Are they going to make you take off the MW+ for scenes because that doesn't sound right and is very hard to believe.
If these rumuors are true I think the no subtitle might be a misinterpretation of "subtitle not going to be announced at E3" But since story-wise its going to the roots of the story, at least that's what I get from it (not really a zelda chronology and lore buff ) it might just show that t actually tells us THE legend of zelda
There will be Dungeons with no Bosses and Bosses with no Dungeon.
I like this idea a lot. That's what I really liked about TP; the world felt so much more real. It was the first Zelda game that really didn't feel like you were playing through a game level to level. The places you explored and the story all fit together very well. I'd like to see this more often, and less of the Megaman style of going through the game, with a little story in between.

You can play games that don't use WM+ with WM+ still attached. You just don't get the extra accuracy.
I am way too lazy to think of something clever. My Backloggery

What I meant was that I find some of these rumours hard to believe, the hookshot not using the WM+ is like someone wanting to light a fire, they have matches but chose instead to use sticks and rocks to start the fire, it just seems odd.
@Mario34 Well, if the hookshot relies mainly on IR pointer controls the M+ isn't necessary. I was just saying that if an item or two doesn't need motion plus to work, it's not going to be as inconvenient as you say.

Iike this idea too because then boss fights will be more varied but I hope it's not too much like twilight princess.
Sounds promising, but then again this came from some random German forum. I'm not an idiot enough to immediately believe whatever is posted on the internet.

Hmm... I thought the story behind minish cap was that the Link in that Story started the whole Zelda series off, a prequal to that would mean that Link doesn't wear his trademark green cap.

What's the point of Swinging it? it could be cool making the hookshot his main weapon, like a whip. The Legend of Castlevania!

Are you sure you're not mixing this up with Okami/Okamiden?

Slight problem there... If you're right handed, you'd have to swap the controllers into the other hand in able to do that, I see that getting very annoying very quickly...

Or we can assume that typing "ZELDA" as a name makes the game harder like the first game...
Some of that I could believe in, but after all it's a rumour, it's best to just wait for Tuesday. Saying that though, I'll be a hypocrit, I do like the idea of the hook shot being the main weapon over the sword, the Motion Plus and a bit of cool physics can make the hook shot work like a whip.
I heard a rumor started by myself, that Tingle replaces Link as the main character and must bring peace to Hyrule, by mugging people for rupees as well as sneaking up on people kissing them and uttering his magic words in their ear, also Sonics in it and it takes place in the future, would I lie to you?
The dungeon rumor sounds plausible and interesting. They said they wanted to shake up the formula a bit. I'd like to see this. The master sword rumor is interesting, too. I prefer the minimalist idea of story from the older games, but if they're going to continue having cutscenes like in the latest games, fleshing out the universe with origin stories would go a long way toward making me actually want to watch and believe that Nintendo is making a story after all, not just creating the same story with vague differences over and over.

Please no, that confuses people. We already have Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) and Prince of Persia (2008), we don't need "The Legend of Zelda (2011)". Next we're going to have a "Metroid (2012)".
Besides, apparently it's easy to get around that by adding the name of the console at the end of the title, or better yet, putting "new" at the beginning.
