One of these following games will be release on the vc on Monday:

Genghis Khan II: Clan of the Gray Wolf (the last two Snes game releases on the vc have been Koei games.)
Secret Command (It already was released in Japan and Europe for the SMS and is ESRB rated)
Skate or Die ( Game has to come to North America sooner than later)
Final Fantasy (game has a chance to be released since Japan will be getting the game this week)
Super Pitfall (Activision has released a game on the vc before)
Summer Games 2 (C64 game that is esrb rated)
Clay Fighter (Released in Europe and is ESRB rated)
Shanghai II: Dragon's Eye (It is esrb rated and Activision has released a Genesis game on the vc before.)
Super Smash Bros. ( Long shot to have back to back N64 releases, but anything is possible)

There's something special about Genghis Khan II: Clan of the Gray Wolf. Do you notice Genghis Khan on the title screeen? I just realize that it's indeed a licensed game. So a good license game is coming after all!

Genghis Khan is the name of a historical figure who's long dead. There are no liscensing issues there.

Actually, I own the rights to Genghis Khan. Please refrain from using his name without permission unless you want a lawsuit.

Is it Khan in general? What about The Wrath of Khan?

Why do people keep saying Smash Bros? We just got an N64 game last week. Very very VERY slim chance we'll get twon in a row.

WiiWare: Swords and Soldiers
VC: Final Fantasy
DSiWare: No clue

You shouldn't have done that.

So I'm the biggest whinner JUST because I make a few comments?

JTC, I'm not sure whom you're addressing, but if it's me, sorry. I don't know what Doug was talking about, but I was just joking because he'd misspelled "whine," which is what I thought you were doing, too.

Oh I think I was addressing Doug. Sorry if you thought I was talking to you.

I think the only other licensed game we got was TMNT for the NES.

Exactly. That means hopefully, we'll see more license games soon.

You practice a logic unknown to my kind. Please enlighten us.

No, it means that you can use Ghenghis Khans name and likeness as you see fit (like they did for that game). There is no license around his name or history for anyone to worry about. The rights to something like TMNT are actually owned by a person, and GK has been dead for hundreds of years and is a non-issue as far as licensing goes.

No, he's right. Genghis Khan is long dead, and I'm pretty sure he was the one holding the rights to all these licensed games.

Now that we've confirmed old Genghy (as he liked to be called) is still dead, we should be seeing Duck Tales, Rescue Rangers and Superman 64 on the VC within weeks.

Good predictions:
VC:Final Fantasy
WiiWare:Bubble Bobble Plus
DSiware:Art Style:DeCODE

Bad predictions:
VC:Back to the Future [NES]
WiiWare:Super Family Party Xtreme
DSiware:More Master of Illusion shovelware

I want some free Wii points if any of my predictions come true.

June will be a 5 game month for the VC. Let me take a stab at what will come out
6/1- Secret Command
6/8- Sim Earth
6/15- Final Fantasy
6/22- Fantasy Zone II
6/29- Shangai II Dragons Eye

Darkhorse pick: Strider or Sonic and Knuckles
System that needs to be updated: Neo Geo

@Tony: What exactly do you mean by Darkhorse pick? O_o

JTC-Pingas

blackknight77

My darkhorse pick is a game that is not expected to come out but does. The chances of Strider and S&K coming out in June seem pretty slim, but maybe Nintendo will put them out anyway.

Like in sports the team that is not likely to win or has a slight chance is the darkhorse

Nintendo needs to put out Sonic & Knuckles anyway since it's the last Mega Drive/Genesis Sonic to be released.
