Topic: Miyamoto's New Character

so, what do you think Shiggy's new character is going to be? post your ideas!

It will be a Fonz.

Something like this I think

After witnessing Pikmin, Olimar, and any enemy in the series the next character is bound to be something strange but lovable based of something Miyamoto does for or hobby, someone he knows, or something he enjoys like most of his characters.

That's just a rough sketch but I imagine the character will look something like that.

I think his new character will not in fact be a new character, but he will make a game entirely for Tingle. And this time it will come to the US.

Maybe he'll make a Sexy Poker: tingle Edition though. I'll keep my fingers crossed. The new character will be a lady Tingle!

When Miyamoto creates a new character it's usually within the framework of a genre he's never done before. Donkey Kong/arcade, Mario/platformer, Link/action-adventure, Pikmin/RTS. He's already mastered those genres and I'd doubt he'd want to compete with a genre from another big series from Nintendo, so that leaves out RPGs like Pokemon and shooters like Metroid. I don't think he'd do something like an adventure game since he's not one to know how to create a story beyond save this/defeat that. Who knows what goes on in Miyamoto's head. That's why he's the most respected guy in the business, you can't predict what he'll think up next and he practically has a Midas touch with whatever game he's working on. It's almost creepy.

I can't tell whether this was a great WIN or a disappointing FAIL......

Anyways, I'll see if I can make a good assumption of Shiggy's new character, mainly looking at a direct/indirect connection to his hobbies.

Kinda like how Nintendogs(+Cats) was inspired by his pets.

Maybe this new character, like Mario, Luigi, and Olimar, will have a big nose. It seems like a trait that some of his characters have.

Maybe his new character can be a violin which uses it's (thing used to play violins) to attack jazz instrument enemies and collect musical notes? Just a thought.

That thing used to play violins is called a bow. By the way, that's not a bad idea.
