Well this is strange
Wasn't this game "nearing the final stages of development" last time we heard?
Does this mean we'll have another Twilight-Princess-like situation?

Well, this means that the game is 51-100% done

I can only hope so. But as Lz said, it could be closer to done than you'd think.

half done doesn't mean the game is going to take twice as long to finish as it already has, based on what they've said the hardest work of getting the mechanics right is already done. i assume they mean they've got half of the playable game done, not half of the total work.
