The arcade treasures games are generally great, though I did notice a couple of issues with my biggest disappointment being Wizard of Wor on volume 2 which I regard as less playable than the Atari 2600 version in all honesty. I'd think they would be better on the PS2 for the controller alone (I remember the original greatest hits games controlled very well on the Playstation) and you can also get a trackball for the Playstation so that would be superior for stuff like Marble Madness.
No surprise, but no response to my query to Time Warner Interactive.
EA picked up the rights to NBA Jam. Have any other Midway properties been purchased by other companies?
Well, I know that Xbox Live is getting a Hydro Thunder sequel and that theres no chance of it seeing a Wii release due to Microsoft owning the rights to it.
I just read online that there will be Mortal Kombat Kollection with the first 3 Mortal Kombat games on one download, too bad we aren't getting MK and MK2 on the VC, that would be awesome especially MK2. Come to think of it MK 3 was also on the SNES. Come on WB Games make this happen!

I think what it is is MK, MK2 and UMK3 and its only going to be available for XBLA and from what I heard its going to be the Arcade versions. Personally I would rather have the arcade versions rather than the SNES versions especially MK.

Get the original on the VC, I can't seem to find my Cartridge (can't believe I had this game when I was really young in the 90's either but I have never seen the Fatalities then so it was all cool).
Yeah why is anyone asking for the SNES versions (I'd even ask for the Megadrive version before that) when we have VC arcade?
Good question. I've always asked for the arcade versions myself. The Mega Drive version of the first game is pretty blah beyond having the original blood and fatalities(and even then, you have to use a code to unlock them). If they ever came to VC, there's no excuse to not just simply skip over the console versions and only release the arcade versions. But it doesn't appear it's ever going to happen anyway. Nintendo is gearing up to release their next console now and there's still not a peep from Warner Bros. I've given up hope on any of them ever coming to Virtual Console.

Yeah it's unlikely but if we're going to ask for them we may as well ask properly. True, the Megadrive version wasn't that good but, if you want Mortal Kombat, it's kind of pointless without the blood and fatalities but it's the only the arcade versions we should really be asking for.
