Topic: Mega Man X or Mega Man 10?

I wasnt sure if I should put this in Wiiware or Virtual Console, so I went with the latter...
Me and my friends have been having a hard time deciding which is better; Mega Man X, with its gritty story and great game-play (and nostalgia), or Mega Man 10, a brand new game based on the old school retro Mega Man games.
Now I know both have their weaknesses and strong points, but which one is better overall? (EDIT: In your opinions, of course)

Why not both? I could never pick just one. X has been around longer and probably has more nostalgic value.
However Mega man 10 is made to appeal to fans of the Nes games. You'd be in for a treat no matter which game you choose. Either get both or flip a coin. It's win win either way.

Yep I agree with Link79 there either way is a win for you. You cant really go wrong with either of them.

Mega Man X, it's a better overall game in pretty much every respect.

10. X was good, but it wasn't as challenging. I breezed through it pretty quickly. Whereas there's plenty I have yet to do in 10.

Edit: Yes, I even obtained the Hadouken.

Mega Man X in my opinion. The X series are by far my favorite Mega Man games.

I'll always love X. I grew up playing it. I could never get very far so I had my cousin play for me, but as a kid I fell in love with the art style. I'm proud to say after about a 14 year hiatus I started playing it again and I beat it. (with a guide. shut up) And the hadoukan is so cool too.

X. It's clearly the better game.

Luckily 10 at least has the advantage of being in a series that doesn't suck after only 3 games.

I actually didnt like 9 at all for some reason. I despised it to be honest, but I only have good feelings for 10.

To be completely fair, my favorite Mega Man games were Mega Man Zero (series) and Mega Man Battle Network (series).

Well I plan on getting both anyways, but im just trying to decide which is first. Basically which one will last the longest (at least until my next paycheck XD)

X. 10 is cool (and has easy mode, thankfully), but X has cooler boss robots. A lot of the ones from 10 were kinda lame

For me, it's MM10, because it has an easy mode. I can't get far enough in the other Mega Man games outside of the Battle Network subseries to appreciate them.
