I know that alot of people think that the girl in the picture for the next is a sword of Link's. But I had a weird thought come to mind. Was that Nayru? Was she manipulating the sword. Because remember that Link has the triforce of courage.(Of course everyone knows that.) I'm wondering how many people think that it is possible for the mystery girl (In the picture) to be Nayru?
Who is Nayru? My Zelda knowledge isn't in top shape at the moment...

I don't know if that is a sword. It was put to my mind yesterday that it could possibly be Nayru. Has that ever came to your mind before. But I can see their reason. Don't want the Master Sword to get too stale.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.
Considering the goddesses are all associated with vivid colors (red, blue, green), and the mystery girl is none of those colors, I doubt it.
also, compare this image (a closeup of the LttP Master Sword) with the E3 poster. I'd forgotten that version of the MS was different from the 3D Zelda games, and the lines coming down from the jewel-thing on the sword struck me as very similar to the ones coming down from the jewel on her chest, especially because her dress is about the same color as the shading on the sword in that image.

Here's my thought on the plot of this game: Ganon unleashes a powerful dark magic that corrupts the Master Sword and it backfires and makes it alive. Now Link must find a way to turn it back.
Sorry bout that. I get the names mixed up. OK maybe it isn't Nayru then. Now I feel pretty dumb. Considering that I played the games for years and still get them mixed up.
Well they did say that it would include Motionplus Controls. So I guess that you could move her around like a sword. She's probably a weapon and a tool for advice as well.
Hm yea I think she'll be a guide like Navi/Tatl/Midna/Ciela and I think the game will take place in an alternate dimension. If u notice w/ Zelda games, the first game in a series of Zelda games almost always takes place in the real Hyrule, while its sequel takes place in an alternate dimension. Examples of this are shown with Wind Waker and its sequel Phantom Hourglass, Link to the Past and Link's Awakening, Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, etc. If The next Zelda game is indeed a sequel to Twilight Princess, you can expect it to take place in an alternate reality.
